On 8 August 2018, the administration of the team rejected an offer in the region of €500,000 from Süper Lig side Ankaragücü. On 14 August 2018, he opened the score after Niklas Hult’s low cross in a 2–1 home win game against Celtic for UEFA Champions League Third qualifying round, 2nd leg.
